FAQ's about the lodges:
How can I book my holiday?
| You can book online at www.windmilllodges.co.uk or by telephoning the office on 01728 685338. Office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday and Friday, 9am to 12pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. |

On what days do your holidays start?
| Arrival and departure days are Mondays and Fridays. |

What time of year do you offer holidays?
| We offer holidays throughout the year. |

Do you accept Pets?
| Unfortunately we do not accept pets. |

What facilities are there on site?
| We have an indoor pool (open Easter to October) a small fishing lake and each of our log cabins have their own private hot tub. Laundry facilities also available (24 hours). |

Do all lodges have a hot tub?
| Yes each of our lodges has their own private hot tub situated off the veranda of each lodge. Hot tubs are available for use all year round. |

Where are you located?
| We are located in Saxtead, a small village in Suffolk located just off the A1120. The nearest town is Framlingham (2 miles). |

Do you have a brochure?
| We have a leaflet and price list we are happy to post to you upon request. Our website is continually updated with news and photographs. |

Do you offer short breaks?
| Our short breaks are for 3 nights (Friday to Monday) or for 4 nights (Monday to Friday). |

What is the shortest break you offer?
| The shortest break we offer is for 3 nights starting on a Friday. |

What are the check in & departure times?
| Check in time is 4pm on day of arrival and check out time is 10am. |

Do you provide towels and bed linen?
| All towels, linen & bath robes are provided and included in the cost of your holiday. |

Will the swimming pool be open during our stay?
| Our indoor pool is open from Easter to October. |

Do the lodges have internet access?
| WIFI is available in our lodges at no additional cost. |
|
Can I make a group booking?
| Yes we accept group bookings and recommend that prior to booking you contact the office to discuss your requirements. |

Do you provide for guests with accessibility needs?
| Whilst we do not belong to the National Accessible Scheme, we do meet a number of the schemes standards. We always try our best to accommodate any requests where possible and recommend that you contact us prior to booking to discuss your requirements. This enables us to provide further relevant information which may help you decide the suitability of our accommodation. |

What is included in the cost of my holiday?
| All towels, bed linen and bath robes are included in the cost of your holiday. There are no further charges during your stay unless you wish to hire any additional items such as fishing equipment, cots, highchairs, sofa beds etc. |

Can I change the date of my booking?
| Changes to the date of your booking can only be accepted (subject to availability) if the request is made no less than 6 weeks prior to the date of your arrival. This will incur a £50 handling charge. Any other changes you wish to make should be discussed prior to your arrival by contacting reception. |

What happens if I have to cancel my holiday?
| We recommend that you take out holiday insurance against cancellation. Should you need to cancel your holiday, full details regarding our cancellation policy can be found in our terms and conditions. |

Can I add extra guests to my booking?
| Yes additional guests can be added to your booking provided the number of guests does not exceed the maximum occupancy of your lodge. This needs to be arranged with reception prior to your arrival as there may be additional charges to pay for example sofa bed hire. |

Can I hire a cot & high chair?
| Yes we have cots and high chairs available for hire. Cots are £7 for a short break & £10 for a week break. High chairs are £3 for a short break and £5 for a week break. |

Do the lodges have a barbeque?
| Each lodge has a barbeque available from Easter to October. (charcoal and firelighters are not supplied). |

Can we have friends to visit us during our stay?
| Yes friends are welcome to visit you during your stay, however this is by prior arrangement only (please contact reception) Visiting guests are not permitted to stay overnight. |

Can I book my next holiday before I leave?
| Yes. You can take advantage of our special offer of receiving a 10% discount off the cost of your next holiday if you book during your stay. |

FAQ's regarding the fishing:
How big is the lake and what fish are in it?
| Our lake covers approximately half an acre with a depth of up to 4 feet. It has a small island in the middle and is stocked with carp and tench. The largest fish caught to date weighed 6 lbs. |

Do I need a licence to fish?
Do you sell bait?
| Yes we sell bait (subject to availability) Please contact reception. Please note we do not sell live bait. |

Do you hire fishing rods?
| Fishing rods are available for hire from reception (subject to availability). If you wish to hire equipment or purchase bait and expect to arrive after 5pm on a Friday please contact reception. |
